Is this a chameleon gemstone? .78ct UNTREATED Sapphire!
This sapphire resembles earl grey tea in its color with just a touch of green. Not good for tea, but fantastic for this gemstone! In all honesty, it resembles a rich tourmaline more than a sapphire, but that just makes it more collectable. And the crazy part is, it's untreated! All of the color in this piece is natural. It has a modified princess cut with crisp lines and sharp edgers, and every wide facet shimmers under its superior luster. It measures 5.6mm x 4.9mm x 2.7mm, and was sourced from Africa.
