The ivory white hue of this opal is the perfect backdrop for its mix of floral and block patterned play of color. Yellows, greens, and reds roll across its face in a smoldering display accented by allusive touches of cobalt blue that only present at certain angles. Since opals have less density than other gems you get a better weight to size ratio, so its 1.72 carat weight translates to an impressive 10.9mm x 8.8mm x 5.2mm.
