This is an interesting sapphire. It has a deep seeded mix of blue and green with strong saturation, but when held to the light, you can see well defined color striations. The colors are dark and silky, creating the perfect backdrop for its superior luster to twinkle and pop over its tight cushion cut faceting with crisp angles and fantastic symmetry. This sapphire has fantastic size measuring 6.2mm x 5.5mm x 3.7mm with a Mohs hardness rating of 9 out of 10 making it perfect for setting. Sourced from Australia. Heated only!!!
