The woodcuts were engraved by Georges Aubert after Picasso drawings. This copy is one of the 100 editions reserved for the collaborators in Roman Numbers, of which this is n. XXXI, and includes two additional suites of 21 woodcuts. One suite is printed on light blue wove paper and the other on cream wove paper, each suite is collected in paper wrappers. Loose as issued. Portfolio, plus two suites, are all guarded in the original chemise and slipcase. There are two small cracks on the bottom of the spine of the chemise and some minimal staining, otherwise in very good condition. Ref: Monod 10485.
