This is a gorgeous specimen of natural sapphire from Tanzania. The color palette of this piece is both rich and vibrant, presenting a strong orange hue with a touch of yellow swirling through its color palette, all held under a superior luster. It has a unique mix of glittering and smoldering flashing, and measures 8.6mm x 7.1mm x 4.6mm making it a prime choice for setting, and has a Mohs hardness rating of 9 out of 10 making it strong enough for daily wear. This example is untreated, with no heat or fillers, just pure sapphire.
