Vintage/Antique Carved Male Aferican Wooden Figure

Vintage/Antique Carved Male Wooden Figure standing 19 inches tall on a rectangular base with legs spread apart, loin cloth around the waist and with a magnificent coiffure. Originally purchased in1980 in Cote d Ivoire, this carved figure is from a private collection which has been in storage for over 25 years. It is unknown how old the figure was at time of purchase. We would rate this figure to be in fair to good condition  with some  erosion on chest area and cavity above left eye and other issues consistent with its age. 

 Appraised Value: This Baule carved wooden figure was appraised in 1993 for $10,000.00 by a member of the American Society of Appraisers (A.S.A.) and a copy of the original appraisal will be given to the winning bidder.
