Stunning 20.21ct Jade cabochon
Don't miss this stunning jade cabochon. Held in high regard by the ancient Maya and Olmec cultures, jade was used in a ceremonial fashion and was considered the fastest way to the afterlife. After the Spanish conquest of South America, the secrets of the jade mines were lost until the mid 1980's! This piece exhibits a rich mossy green hue with a glossy luster, and measures an impressive 18.4mm x 14.1mm x 7.2mm. This piece would have been owned by Mesoamerican royalty.
