Simply incredible 8.25ct violet red unheated Ruby

The silky color of this dramatic piece is lush, almost liquid, starting with dark violet that moves through ultra-rich red. But the real magic is when it,s held to the light. Hidden by it's rich color saturation is a lovely violet red hue reminiscent of ripe watermelon filled with watermelon seed inclusions suspended through the ruby crystal. This stunning gem was cut from pure ruby from Tanzania, and is untreated. It contains no dyes or fillers. This beautiful example measures 13.6mm x 7.6mm x 6.5mm, and with a Mohs hardness rating of 9 out of 10, it is perfect for everyday wear now and for generations to come.
