In 1969, Fernando Ibanez was born in Alcoy, Alicante Spain.
In 1984, he began to study and learn to draw and paint in the studio of a master teacher and artist. Over six years Ibanez worked under his mentor, dedicating five years to learning the art of drawing, being guided by his teacher and critical encouragement with companions and classmates while attending the Escuela de Artes y Oficios (School of Arts and Occupations) in Alcoy.
After studying all arts and techniques, Fernando, chose to specialize in the technique of the oil painting, without leaving aside his interest in pastels, watercolor and pencil drawing. For in using these techniques he also achieved excellent results. The work of Ibanez would qualify itself under the artistic style of realism, although in certain shades it could also be considered an elevated form of hyper realism.
