Biography: Signing his work as “Zig,” Louis Gaudin is best known for his posters for night life. He began his career in the United States, designing the costumes for Broadway musicals, he later was a frequent client of Parisian fashion boutiques. During the period 1926-1932, Zig created many posters and journal covers featuring Josephine Baker and Mistinguett for the Casino de Paris.
