Note: This is the most darling Darbari Royal Kashan. It is certainly rare and uncommon to come across a Darbari-Kashan in the marketplace. Rugs of this caliber can only be woven by a master weaver and this rug is masterfully hand woven, knot by knot, using superior quality baby lamb's wool with about 100 knots per square inch. It takes over five years to create this beauty. It is noteworthy that the word "Darbari" simply means "Royal", which is basically referred to as a class of Persian rugs with the highest quality and artistic workmanship. In many instances, these enticing pieces were the floor covering of choice for the royal courts. Creases are due to fold and are not a defect.
